The Flux Challenge

One problem. Your timer. No safety net.

The Flux Challenge is the certification engine behind the Flux Standard. A real problem from a real industry. Any tools. One submission window. AI scoring. Time limits scale with tier -- from 2 hours at Flux-1 to 24 hours at Flux-5. No prerequisites at any level.

Select your tier

No prerequisites at any level.

A first-timer can attempt Flux-5 on day one. Time limits and problem complexity scale with tier. The only question is whether you can do the work.

Flux-5 -- Architect

Launch a venture-ready company from scratch. Live product or service, go-to-market foundation, financial model, investor-ready pitch. No incorporation required -- everything else is. This is what it looks like to start a business. It is also what it looks like to be handed a blank mandate inside a Fortune 500 and told to build a new product line alone. The Flux-5 Architect operates at that scale. The problem will reflect it.

One attempt per tier per 12-month period. A failed attempt locks that tier for 365 days. All sales final.

Sample problems

Real industries. Real pain points. Randomly generated.

Every problem is drawn from a database of real business challenges across real industries. You can't prep for a specific problem. You can't memorize answers. Every attempt surfaces a fresh problem. The only way to pass is to actually be able to do the thing.

Healthcare -- Patient no-shows

A regional physical therapy chain loses an estimated $380,000 annually to appointment no-shows. Their current reminder system is a manual phone call the day before. Build a complete digital solution.

Logistics -- Driver retention

A regional trucking company with 200 drivers has 34% annual turnover. Exit interviews cite poor communication and feeling invisible to management. Build a complete digital solution.

Retail -- Inventory shrinkage

A specialty outdoor retailer with 12 locations loses 2.8% of revenue annually to inventory shrinkage. They have no digital tracking beyond a legacy POS system. Build a complete digital solution.

Flux-5 -- Venture launch

The fitness wearables market is crowded at the consumer end and underserved at the clinical end. Launch a venture-ready company targeting physical therapists and sports medicine clinics. Live product or service, go-to-market foundation, financial model, investor-ready pitch. No incorporation required -- everything else is real.

Rules of the challenge

Clear rules. No exceptions.

The Flux Challenge is designed to be hard to game and impossible to fake. The rules exist to protect the value of the credential.

Register for a Tier ->
01Register for any tier, from day one. No prerequisites at any level.

03You may use any tools -- AI models, no-code platforms, cloud services, domain registrars, whatever you can deploy within your time window.
04Submission must include a live URL, a GitHub repository, and a written narrative explaining your decisions.
05Late submissions are automatically disqualified. The system does not accept them. When your timer expires, the submission window closes.

07One attempt per tier per 12 months. A failed attempt locks that tier for 365 days from the date of attempt.
08You may attempt multiple tiers in the same year -- one attempt per tier.
09Your problem is unique. The same problem is never issued twice to the same candidate.
